In May we'll celebrate the great American jazz composers, and those they later inspired, in a program called An American Songbook. You'll hear works by George Gershwin, Jerome Kern, and Cole Porter, as well as Moira Smiley, Caroline Shaw, Ben Folds, and Ysaÿe Barnwell, to name a few. And, of course, we will be joined by a talented local high school ensemble, selected via our Sing-Off Grant Program.
