Alexandria Choral Society is engaged in outreach to the whole of Alexandria.



One of the highlights of every season is our Season Sing-Off grant program. ACS opens this program up to youth choral groups in the Alexandria and surrounding communities, asking these groups to share how they feel singing with a choir is important to them, both through performances and a short essay. The two groups selected for the grant award receive a scholarship, and have the opportunity to perform with ACS.



ACS participates annually in Art on the Avenue on Mount Vernon Avenue in Del Ray, providing activities for children.
