Performances

Magical stories and soul-stirring music

Our 54th season begins with multicultural musical fables for children of all ages in October, and explores the musical wonder of the season in December, including our third annual Snow Globe Series of outdoor community performances. In March, we honor Gabriel Fauré in a joint concert with the Virginia Chamber Orchestra. In April, the season of spring break, our chamber ensemble, Pro Coro Alexandria, will sing about nostalgic trips to the beach in our concert entitled, “To the Sea.” We close the season in May with a concert filled with music of love, loss, healing, and growth. From the masters to magical storytelling, our season has something for everyone!

As a non-profit performing arts organization, ACS strongly believes that financial capacity should never be a barrier to experiencing quality choral programming. That’s why we have proudly adopted a PAY-WHAT-YOU-CAN pricing model for our concerts. Our suggested price for each ticket is $30 (all tickets are general admission), but we invite you to pay the amount that is affordable to you — whether that be more or less.

We hope you’ll join us this season! Thank you for supporting the Alexandria Choral Society!
