In March we presented Performance Art, an interactive program that aspired to "inperpret visual art through choral performance." We teamed up with visual artists and dance group Local Motion from the greater Alexandria and Washington DC region who showcased their art during our concert, and then auctioned it off as part of our 50th anniversary gala immediately following. Plus, Dr. Ben Hutchens and the Alexandria Kinderchoir joined us as special guests as we presented a world-premiere performance of a new choral work by acclaimed composer Christopher Hoh.
