Snow Globe - title only.jpg

november & december 2021
throughout the community

The Snow Globe Series is a collection of outdoor, pop-up style performances around Alexandria in November and December 2021, featuring winter and holiday themed repertoire. Just as when a snow globe is shaken, one sees a slightly different, yet beautiful, scene -- our performances will be unique and tailored for each location and audience we reach. Like a snow globe, this series strives to capture moments in time and create unity by bringing beautiful music, and a sense of hope and togetherness, to close another very difficult year.

While all performances will be free and open to the public, donations are graciously accepted in any amount. Please consider giving so that we can bring the joy of live choral singing to the entire Alexandria community. Please contact Executive Director Bridget Baker-White at alexandriachoralsociety@gmail.com if you would like to officially sponsor the Snow Globe Series!

The kick-off for our Snow Globe Series will be held at the Carlyle House Historic Park in Old Town on Saturday, November 20, at 8:00 PM. Reserved seats for this concert have been fully booked, but a limited number of walk-up, standing-room spots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis on the night of the performance. Walk-up guests are welcome to bring a chair.

Please also spread the word and join us for our pop-up performances throughout Alexandria in November and December! No tickets are required for these performances, but donations are accepted.
